In February, the eyes of the world are turning to Italy for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. For the first time, the Games are being held in two cities – Milan in the northwest for indoor events and Cortina in the northeastern alpine region for outdoor events. Milan is more than a great venue for winter sports – it’s a major international center for industry, culture, and tourism.

This June, Vancouver is one of two Canadian cities hosting FIFA World Cup games, the first time Men's matches have been played there. But the World Cup has visited the city before - the 2015 Women's World Cup final between the United States and Japan. The first match of 2026 kicks off at BC Place on June 14^th and the seven matches hosted at BC Place will shine a light on the city like never before.
