Compensation:

[Starting / Initial] Base Salary Pay Range: 785.000,00 MXN/yr. 65,416 MXN/ per month.

Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fiber optics network field activity, Long haul and metro, Transport and Routers
• Implementation of long haul and metro network augmentation, coordination and installation
• Turn-up and test new customer connections and circuits
• Work with Network Planning and Service Delivery teams to provide Field perspective to network deployment as well as to provide expertise in deployments
• Organize projects with contractors and internal staff
• Traveling within Mexico is required as well as full time availability

Qualifications:

• Travel by car and/or plane 20%+of the time, remote office the rest of the time, 5+ years’ experience on telecommunication networks

Required :

• Working knowledge on telecom infrastructure.
• Field experience with install and turn-up DWDM and IP networks
• Experience in the use of optical test equipment: power meters, OTDRs, OSAs, and interpretation of test results
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• High-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion

Desired:

• Experience managing vendors and carriers
• Successful project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, certifications, or training

This position reports to the Field Engineering Manager in Mexico City
