Responsibilities:

As a member of the Finance team, the Business Analyst is responsible for a variety of projects, including tool development and coordination of corporate travel, expense reporting, cost saving initiatives, and event management. Skills should include gathering and translating user needs into business requirements, general analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent project management.

  • Coordinates and books corporate travel 
  • Designs tools and templates to streamline travel management initiative
  • Coordinates hotels and negotiates efficient rates based on regionalized needs
  • Assists with general coordination and communication surrounding training events, includings calendar scheduling, and notifications
  • Performs travel reporting and analysis
  • Solves problems and makes decisions, finds efficient solutions
  • Creates and maintains accurate documentation
  • Works collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Provides accurate and professional customer support
  • Plans, chairs, and facilitates in-house meetings
  • Assists in onboarding all new hires by maintaining employee human resource files
  • Ensures all new hires are properly enrolled for Cogent offered benefits
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
  • Submits employee reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Finance degree preferred)
  • Familiarity with MS-Office
  • Experience with Concur Platform preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently or in small groups
  • Capable of working under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
